As one of only ten California members of the Special Needs Alliance, a select group of attorneys nationwide dealing with special needs trusts, we have particular expertise in the area of planning for persons with disabilities and their families. We work with the client, trustee, family members, litigation attorneys, structured settlement brokers, life care planners and other professionals to create a customized special needs trust. Each trust is tailored to the beneficiary’s special needs, now and in the future. Where necessary, we file the appropriate petitions to have the trust approved by the court. We also represent trustees (both individuals and institutional) of special needs trusts, assisting them in interpreting and implementing the terms of the trust on an ongoing basis.
