Elder Law

We have decades of experience in the area of Elder Law. Our goal is to assist our clients in improving the quality of their lives as they age. Towards that end, our clients are counseled on the appropriate use of various available techniques and planning opportunities to effectively deal with the myriad opportunities and issues facing our aging population and those with special needs.

We work with financial and insurance advisors, caregivers, and health care professionals to analyze our client’s overall needs and the most effective method of meeting those needs. This includes, where appropriate, the preparation of trusts, advance directives, powers of attorney, and other documents that focus on asset preservation and maintenance of our clients’ quality of life.

Our services may also include, (where appropriate), advice regarding Medi-Cal planning, supplemental and special needs trusts, long term care insurance, reverse mortgages, intervention and negotiation with health care providers in cases where Advance Directives are not being honored or where benefits are being denied.

To enable us to remain current in the rapidly evolving and changing area of Elder Law, we are active and participating members of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform (CANHR) and the Southern California Council of Elder Law Attorneys, as well as the Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley and Warner Center Estate Counselors’ Forums.
